‘Gardens’ exhibition rugs, Palazzo Fortuny, Venice
An installation at Palazzo Fortuny, Venice which re-interpreted Mariano Fortuny's eclectic creativity in a contemporary way. The installation incorporated paintings, rugs, furniture and clothing . It was the first time I had designed rugs. The evolution of these was the ‘Flower Power’ series for Nilufar in Milan and Minima in Dublin.

'Vertical Garden', 100% wool, 200 x 300cm. I was fascinated by the concept of a vertical garden, this rug is more a tapestry than a floor piece - best seen in vertical. Exhibition 'Gardens', at Palazzo Fortuny, 2010.
